How can I describe it? A wine that you can easily drink three bottles of on New Year's Eve(!), or just one glass on an unspectacular Tuesday evening. No head the next day, nothing. An all-rounder. Super drinkable and to every taste, I would say.
A closer look reveals that the "Tralcetto" (which, by the way, means the small part on the neck of the bottle) comes from Italy, more precisely from Abruzzo, and is therefore also called "d'Abruzzo" and consists of 100% Montepulciano grapes.
It is matured in steel tanks and then in oak for four months. This gives it a nice balance between tannins (what comes across as a bit furry) and body. It smells fruity, has a nice ruby colour and tastes of berries and some fresh oak.
